ACCOMMODATIONS

Edinburgh accommodations run the gamut and offer good options for every type of traveler. In the city center, hostels and hotels are the only options; B&Bs and guest houses reside on the city’s outer edges. It’s a good idea to book ahead in summer, and absolutely essential to be well ahead of the game during festival-time (late July to early Sept.). The TIC’s booking service can help during those busy periods when many people sublet their apartments for longer stays.
