The inaugural CFP championship game, played in January 2015 at AT&T Stadium in Dallas, brought an estimated $308 million to the area economy, according to the Dallas Morning News. The economic impact of the January 2016 CFP championship game, played at University of Phoenix Stadium (Glendale, Az), was $274 million. The 2017 CFP championship game will be hosted by Raymond James Stadium
