Welcome to Seoul, South Korea. This is such a unique city, with ancient temples, modern music, incredible food, and of course, the tense border with North Korea. This is Gyeongbokgung. This palace served as the main palace during the Joseon Dynasty. So we’re about head in and watch the royal changing of the guard ceremony. It’s a special ceremony that happens three times a day, and it’s about 20 minutes long. This place is huge. You could easily spend hours here just wandering around. It’s a beautiful place to visit. Just a few blocks from Gyeonbokung Palace is Jogeysa Temple,

Rent a hanbok and explore some of Seoul’s cultural highlights DMZ and JSA Panmunjom Tour from Seoul This post I’m looking forward to learning about the Korean War, and visiting one of the most unique places in the world, the border between South and North Korea. At Imjingak Park there are several monuments and statues honoring the Korean War. At the nearby Dora Observatory, look through binoculars to the other side of the Demarcation Line. You can observe daily life in a small North Korean village from afar. Dorasan Station is the northernmost stop on South Korea’s railway line. Diy South Africa
