WHERE CAN I STAY IN BOSTON?

Located in the fashionable Back Bay district, the Fairmont Copley Plaza is just a stone’s throw from the boutiques of Newbury Street, the charming cobbled streets of Beacon Hill and the leafy wonders of Boston Common. Built in 1912, the historic Boston landmark, along with the neighbouring Boston Public Library, is currently illuminated with festive imagery as part of Copley Square’s first City Lights festival. Stepping out of our taxi onto the red carpet under a red and gold canopy, My blog felt like part and parcel of a Christmas movie. This feeling continued as we walked across the marble lobby of the plush 383-room hotel, with its grand interiors and lavish furnishings, to reception, where we were met by the Fairmont’s canine ambassadors, black Labradors Catie and Carly Copley. We then checked in to one of the Fairmont Gold rooms that gave us access to a VIP lounge, where we enjoyed breakfast and evening canapes.
