Queen Street becomes High Street, and Cornmarket Street becomes Saint Aldates at Carfax Tower, the center of the original city. The colleges are all within a mile of each other, mainly east of Carfax along High St. and Broad St. The Oxford Cyclists’ Guide (£1.50), at the TIC, is excellent for both cyclists and pedestrians who wish to explore the city.
