History for Denver Map Tourist Attractions
Devonshire Place, just past the massive Cavendish Hotel, offers Denver Map Tourist Attractions the most convenient access to the town centre. Even in this bustling town the glories of nature Denver Map Tourist Attractions can be readily enjoyed, not only in the banks of flowers which adorn many of the streets, but also in the many delightful gardens, including the well-known Carpet Gardens which have been established in the town for more than a century, and the Butterfly Centre. Here you can walk amongst jacaranda, hibiscus and bougainvillaea and watch as exotic butterflies and moths flutter about freely. There are many other attractions in the town including the Towner Art Gallery and Local History Museum, the superb architecture of Grand Parade, the Coastal Defence Museum in the Wish Tower, the redbrick fortress known as the Redoubt which also houses a museum, and the How We Lived Then Museum Of Shops. Perhaps the nicest way to end your walk is at the nineteenth-century town pier, from the end of which you can gaze up at Beachy Head and reflect that despite the attraction of this very fine resort, with its buildings and its history, the most impressive sight of all is that presented to you by nature itself. Then, suitably inspired, you can make your way back to the station, endeavouring to remember the difference between viper’s trefoil and early purple bugloss.
