Who woulda thunk it? Just a few winding miles south of downtown Natick, you make a turn into what ought to be yet another suburban driveway and suddenly, you’re out in the country. The Marino Lookout Farm is, in fact, one of the oldest continually operated farms in the U.S. established in 1680 (!) and still busy. Today, it sells produce and plants.

In August 2003 the wreck was identified when the ship’s bell was recovered, then, soon after, three beautiful bronze dolphins in an arched position were found; these were the supporting legs of the ship’s steering binnacle. The Fingal (Official No.99246) was a steel-hulled 1,548-ton British passenger/cargo steamer measuring 85.34 m in length, with a 10.66-m beam, a 5.48-m draught and 5.86-m moulded depth. W. B.
