The Gallery exhibits the work of contemporary American and international artists in 4-6 shows during the academic year. In addition, there are an annual juried student exhibition, graduate thesis exhibitions, and an annual holiday sale. During the summer months selections from the universitys permanent collection are exhibited. In the fall, the annual Delta National Small Prints Exhibition, a national juried competition, is on display.

Tne Center provides opportunities for the practice, teaching, performance, enjoyment and understanding of the arts and sciences.
Temporary art exhibits draw from the permanent collection: local arts organizations; and regional, national and international artists. With over 1,000 works, the permanent collection, while focusing on Arkansas artists, African-American artists, and representers of the Delta culture, includes international artists as well.
