Here’s a great little spot tucked away just outside of Central Square. Don’t blink or you’ll miss it; and you’ll be sorry, if you like barbecue.
You can take out or eat at one of the half-dozen tables. Mine loved the Texas-style ribs ($6.95), six meaty bones with lots of tangy sauce sitting atop a plate of fresh salad, shoestring fries, a slab of garlic bread, and a couple of crispy onion rings for good measure. A big, fun meal, complete with moist towelettes.
Chicken plates are available fried, barbecued, or Cajun-style. There are seafood dinners as well, like fish and chips for $4.99 and a fried shrimp plate with fries, cole slaw, and potato salad for $7.25. It’s a big menu for a small place. Hours are 11 a.m. to 8 P.M. Mondays through Saturdays.
