On Saturday, the 8th, the general landed with many Iran Map banners spread, to the sound of trumpets and salutes of artillery. Accordingly, on Monday, September 17, he set out with five hundred men, well provided with firearms and pikes, each soldier carrying with him a sack of bread and supply of wine for the journey.
