Las Cabezas de San Juan Nature Reserve sits at the eastern tip of Fajardo. It is a natural reserve encompassing a 316-acre land. The Las Cabezas de San Nature Reserve is home to seven natural ecological reserves, including dry forest, lagoon, beaches and coral reef. The tours are run and handled by Conservation Trust of Puerto Rico, explaining the different ecosystems, flora and fauna species to guests. The tours include visiting the mangrove forest, the beach and the lighthouse. The lighthouse is a commanding view amidst the natural beauty of the reserve, combining neoclassical and Spanish architecture into this magnificent structure. You may also opt for a kayak tour, birding tour, biking tour and night tour to experience the glowing bioluminescent bay at the reserve.
