Really nice classy setup, but lately is friggin dead in there. In it’s day it must have been something. Two floors, upstairs have the private dance rooms. Who knows, this could be the hot spot next week.

For local action, there are a lot of clubs, but don’t expect much to work with. The cruise ships will load the beach clubs in the daytime, but they generally pull out to sea around 6pm. The night clubs are full of Americans on vacations, mostly guys with their dates. The American chicks in packs are usually the ould mouth beer gut drunks. Who wants to leave the country and then end up with hometown hogs? Unfortunately there are almost no local chicas there. Frankly, the only jobs available for local girls in Cabo are waitresses or titty dancers.

What you’re looking for are the groups of strippers who aren’t working that night. They’re easy to spot, they Spanish, dance sexy, smile non-stop, and don’t weigh 200 lbs. Make your move quick, there are not a lot of them to go around. They’re usually broke, so buy a bucket of beers and you’re in Forget the infamous Cabo Wabo, it’s a hopeless empty tourist trap full of American whales, and they wanted $5 to go in to view the cattle. Go to El Squid Row, it rocks till 4 am. Cheap buckets of beer and plenty of eye candy. Don’t forget, the daytime beach bar near the end of the beach in Lands End is as good as anything else, start your day early.

The worst time to go for a chica vacation here is during the Bisbee Marlin tournament in the last week of October. The marinas are full of huge multimillion-dollar yachts, and this is when the big boys who own them come to town, i.e. the prices double and triple.

Golf Courses :

Los Cabos is considered one of the ultimate golf travel destinations. There are two Nicklaus designed courses, the new El Dorado Golf Course, and Cabo del Sol Ocean Course. Also here is a premier Robert Trent Jones designed course, the Cabo Real Golf Course. Others include the Pete Dye designed Raven Cabo San Lucas Country Club, as well as Tom Weiskopf s Palmilla Golf Course.

The courses will set you back around $150-250, and vary according to the season. Peak season is October to April. No need to worry if your game is a little off, there are plenty of titty bars in town where you can purchase a hole in one as well.

Cabo del Sol Los Cabos Tel: (800) 386-2465 Public Course, 18 holes, par 72, 7,037 yards Jack Nicklaus has designed a prime second course now in Los Cabos, dubbed the Cabo del Sol, the “Ocean Course”. The course layout is straddling one mile of immaculate coastline and combines amazing mountain, desert and ocean views. Jack Nicklaus has called the holes 16, 17, and 18 as “the finest three finishing holes in all of golf.” (he obviously hasn’t read out chapter on Rio). Cabo del Sol, often referred to as the “Pebble Beach of Baja”, was the site of the 1995 and 1998 Senior Slam PGA Tour event. Golf Magazine rates this course among the top 100 courses in the world. Greens fees $250 peak, $200 off, twilight rates are available.
