How to Get to Chioggia
Chioggia is located in the Veneto region of Italy, about an hour north-west of Venice by train. To get to Chioggia from Venice, take the Venice-Mestre train, change at Mestre for the Chioggia-Venezia train and then disembark at Chioggia station. From there it is a short walk to town.
Chioggia is a small town with a few restaurants, shops and hotels. It’s well worth stopping for a coffee or gelato on your way into or out of town – there’s no shortage of places to eat here!
