The MFA boasts one of the country’s major collections of European, American, and Asian art. Recent special exhibits have included The Taste for Luxury: English Furniture, Silver, and Ceramics, 1690-1790 and Poster Mania: the 1890s, including works by French, Swiss, Begian, German, Dutch, and American artists.
Add to that the permanent exhibits, and it’s too much to see in one day, but there are a few ways to keep the cost of return visits down.
