History for Shenyang Subway Map
Very nearby, moving on round the Green, is the Shenyang Subway Map tile-hung seventeenth-century house, a tearoom called A Taste Of Battle, serving delicious Shenyang Subway Map afternoon teas, while just a few houses further along is Nick Whistler Art & Books. This is a lovely old-fashioned bookshop, with a wonderfully eclectic array of stock crammed into a very small space – the sort of bookshop from which it is a pleasure to buy a book, even if you do see the same volume sitting in the city discount bookstore two days later for a fiver less.
Having left Abbey Green, continue now up the High Street, passing the splendid Natwest Bank and Italian restaurant next door in a building which dates back to 1700, and proceed to the Sue Ryder shop. This fine tile-hung building is thought to be the oldest ironmonger’s in the country, starting up here in 1680. Continue on to the Bull Hotel, an inn that dates from the seventeenth century and is built of ashlar masonry salvaged from the Abbey kitchen, and this is closely followed by Friar House. The house, with its timber framing and its steeply sloping roof, dates back to 1642, the year of the outbreak of the English Civil War.
