Mine’s not about to argue this place is huge. About half of the merchandise is second hand, where the real bargains are found. Check out their stupendous buyback deal: Use new equipment for up to three years, and they’ll still buy it back for at least 70% of the original price. Of course you can bring any fitness equipment in for credit; it’s a great way to trade up to better machines.
A Nordic Track Pro-Form XC-Skier, $350 new, was recently seen here for $225 used. There’s a great selection of weight benches, steppers, bikes and exer-cycles, Reebok Steps ($99 new, $69 here!), treadmills, and more. New machines are also discounted, but as these are high-end brands, the prices may give your wallet a workout
The Fitness Store is big on service. Instead of ordinary salespeople, they hire personal trainers who can help you figure out what’s best for you. They’ll teach you how to use your equipment, how to find your heart rate and why. Open weekdays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. (Wednesdays and Thursdays til 8), Saturdays from 10-5, and Sundays 12-5. Summer hours vary.
