An acclaimed art gallery is located at the end of the lobby. It sells crafted handwork and decorative collectibles from the Hawaiian islands. The hotel has one restaurant, The Preserve Kitchen & Bar. It is open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The open-air restaurant has . The airy interior reflects Hana’s low-key lifestyle. Food at the restaurants is very pricey. There are also a few trucks and shacks in the area, offering mouth watering street food.

The cuisine uses local (and often organic) ingredients. I have breakfast in the restaurant’s verandah later in this post. The terrace overlooks the gardens and Kauiki Hill . It’s very hard to find a tranquil pool in Hawaii. Travaasa Hana delivers when you are looking for a peaceful retreat away from the crowds.

This black-sand beach offers good swimming, snorkeling and freshwater pools. Dusk is the best time for a visit to the spa.
