Yellowstone Geyser eruptions

Predictions for these six geysers are posted regularly at the Old Faithful Visitor Center. Riverside, Castle, and Daisy geysers are accessible by wheelchair or bicycle. I thought there were two captains for a minute. Then I noticed the second man had purple edges to his stripes, which made him the chief engineer. Earlier, the third mate had said that the chief engineer was queer; I didn’t know if this was true or if it was a joke that was going over my head. He looked pretty normal to me, although to my inexperienced eye, normal meant he wasn’t wearing a dress, carrying a handbag or flapping his wrist around. The captain appeared to ignore everyone except the chief engineer and the chief mate. I tried to keep out of the line of sight of the chief mate but his black eye flickered over me as I entered the bar and I felt a chill of fear. The third mate bought me a beer and then called over the two senior cadets, who he introduced. Look after him he said, then walked over to join Sparks. The senior cadets inspected me. They were old lads, probably 19 or more.
