The Cotton Exchange is a former cotton exporting firm that houses a series of unique shops that are connected by brick walkways and courtyards. The 28 shops include art galleries, stationery stores, bookstores, and old-fashioned candy shops. The 19th-century building retains several of its original features like pine beams and exposed brick. Its restoration in the 1970s marked the beginning of the resurgence in downtown Wilmington. As a nod to the past, there are several historic artifacts displayed throughout the Cotton Exchange, including cotton bales, weighing equipment, and period photographs.
History for Washington Metro Map
Having passed through the trees, you emerge into more open Washington Metro Map country with lovely downland scenery now ahead of you, and then begin to descend. You pass Washington Metro Map a fingerpost pointing the way ahead, and a little further downhill, you reach a second fingerpost indicating a path leading off left, with a stile very close by. The path is indistinct, but after just a few yards you arrive at a more clearly defined track, turning right onto it and proceeding north-westwards. To begin with you go roughly parallel with the wide track you just left, then swing in a more westerly direction and drop down to a crossroads of paths. Go straight over, keeping just to the right of an enclosure; you rise gently, then begin to descend steeply. At the bottom you reach a line of pylons and a T-junction of paths.
