They make all kinds of pasta right there in the factory and sell it directly to the public. The pasta comes uncooked shells, fusilli, bow ties, and more or as prepared dinners.
Ricotta cavatelli is $1.99 a pound, chicken cacciatore is $3.75, and meat tortellini is $4 a pound. You can even get a tray of chicken wings cooked in wine ($3.29) or stuffed peppers ($3 a pound).
Spinelli also serves up hot foods in the store, like ravioli and meatballs ($4.99) or veal parmigiana with spaghetti ($6.25). They specialize in large quantities, for parties of 24 people or more, which you can take away or enjoy in Spinelli’s new banquet room. The store is open daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sundays from 8-6.
