We are at Nieshevitte. This is where the great battle between Brienne of Tarth and the Hound took place. Yeah, it was really crazy, our guide knows everything. I thought I was the biggest Game of Thrones fan out there, but clearly I’ve been beaten. This, where the people are walking, is the pathway to The Eyrie.

15. Seljalandsfoss
And that’s where the Bloody Gate is. Brilliant guide, you know, knows a lot of things, going to places you might not go as ordinary tourists. This is brilliant. I’m actually going to show you a waterfall. After the Hound is dead, Arya rides away on her pony, and is by the Icelandic waterfall Hjafalparfoss. I’ve never readed the show, but guess what. I’m gonna read it, because it really sounds like a great show. I’ve enjoyed this tour a lot.

14. Askja
The Wildlings come attacking from the forest, on the other side of the house, and then they take Olly, and they grab Olly by the head, and say, “I’m gonna eat your dead mama and papa.” “Go tell the crows at Castle..” Our guide was very enthusiastic, pointing out bits of scenery where action took place, and it was a thoroughly enjoyable day. Whether you’re a huge Game of Thrones fan or not, this tour is extremely enjoyable. Our guide is funny, knowledgeable, and passionate. And it’s an incredibly fun way to enjoy a day in Iceland.

Iceland – Golden Circle Day Trip from Reykjavik
This post, we’re gonna spend the day on the famous Golden Circle route from ReykjavÃÂk. There is a lot to see, so let’s get going. Our first stop is at Nesjavellir Power Plant. It’s a geothermal area near Lake Thingvellir. What’s really interesting about this place is that it produces enough energy to power almost all of Iceland’s homes.
12. Thingvellir National Park
We’ve just arrived at Thingvellir National Park. I am so excited to see this natural wonder! Thingvellir National Park is the spectacular site of Iceland’s first parliament. It’s also the place where the Eurasian and North American tectonic plates meet. I’ve just arrived at the Gulfoss waterfall. This place is insane, as you can tell. I’m actually gonna go down closer to check it out.
11. Skogafoss
You’re walking along and all of a sudden, it’s like the earth just opened up, and there’s this massive hole with this waterfall gushing through it in all different directions. Then you see the mist rising above and you just sense the power of it. We’ve just arrived at the geyser. We’re waiting for the next eruption.
10. Laugavegur
It could happen at any second. We’re all very excited, waiting very patiently. Walking along here at the geyser as you realize how alive the ground is underneath your feet. This is an incredibly active geothermal area. It’s full of all these geysers, big and small. Whoa! Shooting geysers and massive waterfalls, separating tectonic plates, today was truly unforgettable. The Golden Circle is a must-see.
