Eating at Cafe Jaffa is like finding a relaxing oasis in the city, of the sort more often associated with expense accounts. With its natural wood floors, exposed-brick walls decorated with contemporary canvases of Mediterranean scenes, and fresh flowers on each table, the place feels like it should be more expensive.
And yet, most entrees are in the $7-$8 range, even for a pair of grilled lamb chops or a shish kabob plate.
