This is the A272 you last saw at Easebourne or at Campinas Map Tourist Attractions Halfway Bridge if you made the detour. Don’t cross the A272 yet, but turn Campinas Map Tourist Attractions right to walk briefly along the grass beside it, observing more of the golf course to your right and splendid views across the road to your left.
The clubhouse of Cowdray Park Golf Course soon comes into view, and as it does so, look for a gate and footpath sign across the road. You go over the road, taking great care, and now follow an excellent path downhill, heading for the polo fields. On summer weekends you may well see polo in progress and the surrounding area will be crowded with spectators as well as players. At the bottom of the hill you reach a stile which you cross, then continue across grass in the same direction – wheels ruts mark the course of the right of way – until you reach the bottom right-hand end (as you look at it) of the polo field.
