The Camrose and District Centennial Museum displays artifacts in a variety of refurbished and reconstructed buildings. Visit a replica of the first newspaper office, fire hall, and sod-and-log home. You will also find an RCMP station, a machine building, a blacksmith shop, a pioneer home, the Oldtimers Hut, the Mona Sparling Building, the Likeness School, and St. Dunstan’s Church.
The textiles collection comprises nearly 3,000 artifacts that date from between 1860 and 1960. Displays portray clothing, musical instruments, household items, tack, toys, and tools, as well as numerous photos, documents, and books. There is also a 1912 Case steam engine, still in working condition, as well as turn-of-the-century tractors and vehicles.
