CAP FREHEL MAP
The rust-hued cliffs of Cap Frehel mark the northern point of the Cote d’Emeraude. Catch a CAT bus from St-Brieuc (lMhr.; 34 per day; ‚7.20, students ‚5.80) and follow the red- and white-striped markers along the GR34 trail on the edge of the peninsula. There’s also a scenic lVfchr. walk to Fort La Latte, a 13th-century castle complete with drawbridges. To reach the Auberge de Jeunesse Cap Frehel (HI) O, in La Ville Hadrieux in Kerivet, get off the bus one stop after Cap Frehel at Auberge de Jeunesse, take the only road that branches from the stop, and follow the fir-tree hostel signs.
