History for Damman Map
Vintner Leslie Mead Renaud uses her extensive hands-on experience Damman Map to transform the fruit into sought-after wines. She honed her skills at several Northern California Damman Map wineries, including Clos du Bois and Bonny Doon Vineyard, and at Talley Vineyards in the Edna Valley, where she was named head winemaker in 2007.
In 2010 she joined Foley Family Wines as director of winemaking for Foley Estates and sister winery Lincourt. The tasting room, in the spacious hospitality center, reflects the ranch’s historic Spanish/Mexican roots in contemporary mission style, with light wood floors, a curved cherrywood tasting bar, and shelves displaying myriad items for purchase. Guests can sink into leather armchairs near a stone fireplace and enjoy the magnificent views of the surrounding oak-studded hills and multifaceted vineyard that defines the modern Rancho Santa Rosa.
