This place claims to be the world’s largest distributor of fresh live lobster, bought from local fishermen and flown in daily; accordingly, the retail space sports an enormous tank of the creatures on display. There’s also a large selection of sole, tuna, and sea scallops (all $6.99 per pound); haddock, halibut and salmon fillets for $4.99 per pound; and even unusual choices such as octopus for $1.99 per pound.

A blackboard out front displays daily specials, such as fresh salmon ($3.99 a pound on Mine’s visit). A small takeout menu includes clam chowder, a hearty bargain at $2.49 for a sizable container. Open from 8:30 am. to 6:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, from 9 a.m. on Saturdays, and Sundays 10-5.
