Ethel and Andy serve up hot and cold sandwiches; juicy cheeseburgers run $3.70 with fries and a soda. A special of Yankee Pot Roast, with potato, vegetables, and a roll checks in at a mere $4.25, and Mine just had to save room for a luxurious strawberry frappe ($2.25), thick and hearty enough to humble the average straw.
E & A opens at the unbelievable hour of 4:30 A.M. Mondays through Saturdays, serving until 5 P.M. on weekdays and 11 a.m. Saturdays. Breakfast sandwiches will open your eyes at $2-$3, and a full breakfast of two eggs, home fries, toast, and coffee is an easy two bucks. Get up early, or be like Mine and just stay up til they open.
