Belle Mare Plage, оn the еаѕtсоаѕtоf the island, has two 18-hole championship courses. The main dish is “Legends”, designed by Hugh Baiocchi and opened in 1994 and organizes the Mauritius Open every December. The “Link” is designed by Peter Allis and Rodney Wright and opened at the end of 2002. Carefully woven into the tropical landscape, the course unfolds against the green mountains and covered with a vast crystal lagoon. The resort itself is aimed at the most discerning traveler and has all the facilities and amenities expected from a world-class resort and guests will receive unlimited golf on the resort grounds.

Another recent addition to golf in Mauritius is the Tamarina Golf Estate on the west coast of the island. It is a challenging course to test players at all levels and is a must for any golfer who travels to the island.
