History for Kansas City Subway Map
In 1982 Lindquist founded Qupe and proceeded to make the first Kansas City Subway Map Syrah and Viognier in Santa Barbara County, followed by California’s earliest Marsanne. Qupe (pronounced kyoo Kansas City Subway Map -pay) continues to specialize in Rhone-style wines, both blends and single-vineyard offerings that demonstrate the diverse flavor profiles of Santa Barbara County fruit. Grape sources include Santa Maria’s historic Bien Nacido Vineyard, planted in the early 1970s.

In 1986 Lindquist leased the fourteen-acre Ibarra-Young Vineyard and has farmed it organically since 1999. He grafted the original Cabernet Sauvignon vines to Rhone varieties, and added four acres of Spanish Albarino, Tempranillo, and Graciano. Lindquist’s wife and business partner, Louisa Sawyer-Lindquist, makes the Spanish varieties into wine under her label, Verdad.
