La Famiglia is a wonderful home-style kitchen featuring Roman cooking at its best The best thing about it is the value, because the portions here are enormous. Chances are you’ll have leftovers to take with you.

Veal dishes offer similar choices the prices go over ten dollars, but again, you get a lot.
Best of all are the house specials, easily big enough for two people to share. Try the La Famiglia Special ($16.95)- veal and chicken pieces with mushrooms and onions in a creamy pesto sauce, served over tricolor cheese tortellini. Mmmmmm. Daily lunch specials, $3.95, may offer risotto primavera, or chicken sauteed with artichokes in wine sauce. Friendly staff, too. Open from 11 A.M. to 9:30 P.M. weekdays, Saturdays from 4 p.M. and Sundays from noon.
