OMNI CITY HOTEL ©©132 E. Trade St. 704/377-0400, www.omnihotels.com
The best part of the Omni City Hotel is the rooftop sundeck and swimming pool. The views are stunning and no doubt helped the 374-room hotel ($199-227 d) earn its AAA Four Diamond rating. The lobby connects the hotel to the Overstreet Mall with its 30 shops and restaurants. You can choose from five different room designs. The deluxe rooms are standard hotel rooms, but the Club Signature Rooms, Executive Suites, and Parlor Suites offer more space and signature amenities like upscale bath products, rainfall showers, and turndown service. The best room in the house is the Randolph Scott Suite, a 1,200-square-foot room with a garden tub, sitting room, and stunning view of Independence Square and all of the Uptown action.

This AAA Three Diamond-rated hotel is one of the best deals in Uptown. The hotel is just steps from sights, restaurants, and nightlife and a renovation that was completed in 2008 helps the hotel compete with its more upscale neighbors; brand-new beds with extra-thick mattresses were added. In addition to standard rooms, one- and two-bedroom suites are available, including a 500-square-foot penthouse suite with a whirlpool and separate dining area. Each of the 150 rooms ($144-219 d) has its own kitchen.
Their tails are so long that they pass over their heads Pittsburgh Map Tourist Attractions and between their fore legs, under their belly, and ending like a fish’s tail Pittsburgh Map Tourist Attractions . They are painted red, green, and black. They are so well drawn that I cannot believe they were drawn by the Indians. And for what purpose they were made seems to me a great mystery. As we fell down the river, and while we were discoursing upon these monsters, we heard a great rushing and bubbling of waters, and small islands of floating trees coming from the mouth of the Pekitanoni Missouri, with such rapidity that we could not trust ourselves to go near it. The water of this river is so muddy that we could not drink it.
