La Patisserie specializes in tiered wedding cakes, but you don’t have to be a bride-to-be to order sweets here. European pastries like tiramisu, tres leches, flan, and eclairs ($2.50-7.95) have made the bakery a downtown favorite for eight years. It’s busiest in the mornings and over the lunch hour, but the rest of the day there are plenty of tables open.
