A flat-panel monitor plays recorded scenes from the winery’s vineyard, providing visual context and a glimpse of the wines’ origins. Especially impressive are images of the stout, forty-year-old vines that yield the label’s signature Petite Sirah.
The 1,400-acre vineyard is located seventeen miles east of Paso Robles, off Highway 46 East. A land- mark water fountain resembling giant grape clusters dropping a cascade of juice marks the entrance to the private property. The vine- yard supports twenty different wine grape varieties, as well as 400 acres of table grapes.
