Rome Hop-On Hop-Off Sightseeing Tour

I’m getting on the hop-on, hop-off bus to check out the most famous sights in Rome. This is a double-decker, open air bus and it is a nice sunny day so I’m gonna enjoy the views from up here.

I’ve just gotten off the bus and arrived at the Colosseum. This is the one thing I have been waiting to see and it’s just unbelievable. Look how huge and massive this structure is. We’re headed to the Spanish Steps which is where Romans and tourists hang out. It’s the best place in Rome to enjoy a gelato. Time to get back on the bus for the next stop. This is the Pantheon.

It is so impressive. I mean, I’ve seen pictures of it but the pictures just don’t even do it justice. This is incredible. I’ve just gotten off the bus and I arrived at Circus Maximus. This is holding about 300,000 people and they used to have chariot races all along here. You can’t go to Rome without seeing the Vatican and there it is. I just got dropped off at Teatro di Marcello which used to be an open air amphitheater. And this is actually almost a hundred years older than the Colosseum.

There’s a saying in Rome that if you throw a coin over your shoulder into the Trevi Fountain, you will return to Rome. So I’m hoping this comes true. Here it goes. This was such an awesome way to see Rome while getting some fresh air. And I really, really enjoyed myself.
