Renowned North Carolina artist Bob Timberlake is known for painting scenes of the simple life. The formidable gallery in downtown Blowing Rock was designed to mimic the interior of a home and is filled with furnishings and artwork created by Timberlake. The posters, limited-edition prints, and original works depict actual scenes that Timberlake painted on location throughout North Carolina, including cows resting in a farmer’s field in Riverwood, a picnic scene in Old Salem, and a wooden rowboat pulled ashore on Bald Head Island. His line of furnishings, the World of Bob Timberlake, is produced in his hometown of Lexington, North Carolina.
