Cleveland Map and Country Region

Poinsotte tries to make the various positions agree, maintaining that Commodian, belonging to the milieu of Syrian merchants, settled in N Italy, traveled both in the region of Aquileia which would explain his apocalyptic vision, similar to that of Victorinus of Petovium and in Africa. Such travel would also explain his use of the African version of the Bible, the relation that exists between his compositions and the works of Cyprian, his concern over judaizing pagans, and the use of acrostic, common in African nonfunerary epigraphy. Of the two books in hexameters which constitute the Instructiones, the first, containing 41 acrostic compositions, moves in the apologetic tradition and is characterized by criticisms aimed at pagans, Jews and judaizers, expressed with a notable propensity to hackneyed, rough polemic, full of vulgarities and sarcastic abuse; the second, containing 39 acrostics, is directed to Christians for corrective and hortatory purposes.

History for Cleveland Map
Cattle roam nearly a thousand acres on the oak-studded Cleveland Map slopes of the Santa Ynez Mountains. More than six hundred acres are devoted to a range of Cleveland Map crops: alfalfa and forage grasses, organic vegetables (such as peppers, squash, broccoli, pumpkin, onions) and fruits (occasionally melons), and flowers for seed. An Arabian horse breeding and training facility occupies about a hundred acres of the estate. Grapes are grown on about a hundred acres at the Home Ranch in Santa Ynez, and more than a hundred acres at Evans Ranch (named for Dan H.’s greatgrandfather) and another holding in the Santa Rita Hills all distinct microclimates that provide the chance to grow many different varieties. The Home Ranch vineyards are planted in Bordeaux varieties that tend to thrive in warmer conditions: Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc.
