The business grew into a large-scale producer of wines for the general consumer. In the late 1990s, Glenn actively pursued a longtime dream of finding a place where he could grow and source premium grapes to make world-class wines. After a statewide search for a vineyard site, he settled on Paso Robles, impressed by the caliber of the regional wines and by the pristine natural landscapes. In January 2000, Bianchi purchased a forty-acre property on the east side of Paso Robles.
