Among the blocks of Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon were heirlooms like Verdelho, Blaufrankisch, and Malvasia Bianca, from which the winery still produces tasting-room-exclusive vintages. Vineyard workers continue to employ the sustainable methods used early on by the winery. They brew compost tea to feed the vines, use a state-of-the-art water recycling system, and compost the pomace left behind by the grape presses.
