The Art Association of Jacksonville was given the David Strawn home in 1915 to be used as an art gallery. The parlor, hallway, and sitting rooms were transformed into gallery viewing spaces. The Gallery presents monthly changing exhibitions of local and regional art work. The permanent collection includes antique and collectible dolls, early Mississippian Native American pottery, and the Charles Prentice Thompson Classical Collection.
