Melcor Cultural Centre is home to the Allied Arts Council-Spruce Grove Art Gallery, which features works by Canadian artists in watercolour, pastel, acrylic, clay, wood, and a variety of other artistic mediums.
The Pluto was a steel-hulled 1598-ton Norwegian steam cargo ship measuring 74.98 m in length, with an 11.50-m beam and a 4.7-m draught. Laxevaags Maskin and Jernskibsbyg, Bergen in Norway built and completed her as Yard No.126 in August 1918; she was launched as the Rov&r on 6 July 1918 for Dampsk. Aktieselskapet John K.
