All right, we’re gonna go into Washington’s mansion, but no cameras allowed, so I’ll see you on the other side. To walk in the steps of George Washington, where history was made as our country was formed, is something that everyone should see. And it was neat to see all the original items from when George actually lived here himself. There’s lots to see on the estate, so let’s go.

It was really fun. Everything was really pretty and old-fashioned, and he lives right by the river. We had wonderful weather too, and it’s just really beautiful out here. Just on George Washington’s back porch of the mansion, and he had the most incredible view to enjoy every day. So we’re coming up on George Washington’s tomb. In his will, he requested that he be buried at Mount Vernon.

We’re at Christ Church and it’s really interesting because it’s where George Washington attended church, and Robert E. Lee, and that’s really special to see that. I really enjoyed this visit to Mount Vernon to see where America’s Founding Father, George Washington, called home.
