Be wary of hotel hustlers at the station. Instead, ask for the tourist office’s list of Privatzimmem (private rooms) or the Hotel Plan (which has info on hostels). From mid-May to mid-September, hostels fill by mid-afternoon; call ahead, and be sure to make reservations during the Festspiele (106).
