STYLISH BYTHE SEASIDE

She says: ‘We decided on a seaside wedding because we got engaged in Whitstable. Te Gallivant stood out as it’s located right on the beach – perfect for our photos! We wanted a pretty vintage vibe so we created a lot of the decor details ourselves.

Sam and I designed the order of service cards, while my father made the wooden sea-creature-shaped holders. We also made little baskets for each of the tables where guests could hand in any cards to us. Sam’s mum baked our cake – it was iced professionally but when it arrived it was peach rather than ivory.

Luckily, it ftted with our washed-out pastels palette! We wanted the fowers to look like they’d been plucked straight from a meadow so our forist arranged them in little jam jars tied with ribbon.’The bride Silk dress, £90, coast-stores.com The groom Suit, from £480, hugoboss.com.
