ENO RIVER STATE PARK
Located in north-central North Carolina, this state park includes the beautiful Eno River, with some bluffs and rock formations alongside. Wildlife here includes deer and fox.
Activities: There are almost 20 miles of hiking trails, easy to strenuous in difficulty. The Eno River is suitable for canoeing, especially from fall through spring. Fishing is permitted along the river.
Camping Regulations: Camping is limited to a single designated backpack campsite, which is one mile from the parking lot. A permit must be obtained from the park office, and a fee is charged for each night. Campfires are prohibited.
