Japanese Culture Shock NUDE PUBLIC BATHHOUSE EXPERIENCE

We are leaving Tokyo always packed light always very cloudy day here in Tokyo Japan hopefully the Sun comes out a little later or hopefully it’s sunny where we’re going up north it is day number two out of six of the Japan trip with the Tokyo government Tourism Board. So far the trip is going really well for me it’s more. So culture shock. Because I have never been anywhere into the East I’ve never even been anywhere near Japan or seen anything like this.

So for me, I’m walking around like you know one year in New York City, and you can tell someone’s not from New York. Because they’re walking around like this the whole time just looking up that’s me in Japan we jumped in a taxi we’re at the train station now we’re stopping at the bento box place to get some breakfast look how many people are in line for bento boxes apparently this is casual this is like a normal thing I feel very very tall in Japan go slow or take it with you yes, I’m positive we took the bullet train we’re now in the northern part of Japan, and first thing we do when we get here we have a bunch of bikes lined up every single place I travel this is the third place now bicycle wherever you are seeing a city or countryside live bike just hello it’s more immersive I feel like I have to say you can actually feel like you get off the train, and it’s like when you leave Manhattan you just feel like that sigh, and it’s nice, and that air is fresh, and it’s a little cooler which is really nice. Because Tokyo hot really hot anything you want to say in a post, I’m good I don’t have anything to add we are at shiroishi castle look at this place it’s an old samurai castle, and it was ripped down, and they rebuilt. So this isn’t the original structure. But still the original one was ripped down after the samurai kind of got kicked out by modernization in the Western world Yona being the post today he don’t be on again call you when I can in the morning, I’ll probably be out mostly best I went I picked up a hot spot at the local store.

So I have Wi-Fi in the middle of this field by this samurai temple, and I was just talking to Jessica. But everyone else went into the castle, and I was out here posting, and taking some photos humpy company how did he go USA Wow it is amazing you know it’s so cool to look out of this, and imagine what it looked like when this was an actual structure I think it was probably all bamboo forests, and lush like we’re at the samurai training center, and my god keeps call me on crews like I was sayin – jessalyn taste, and they dress me up as a samurai we’re gonna go out in the field, and fight never what I ever imagined I would be in Japan wearing a samurai costume at a samurai training center my guide name is Shoji, and she keeps telling people that, I’m Tom Cruise, and everyone who comes in here has gone up, and asked for a picture I was nothing like Tom Cruise.

But I think it’s just. Because I have this mustache, and that’s all I can see this samurai outfit that, I’m wearing the the little hand covers don’t go over my hands, and then you look down my ankles, and they’re all exposed. Because apparently the samurai were only 5 foot 4 to 5 foot 2. So they’re very short, and very fast and, I’m I’m the 6 foot 4 samurai, and I look very very funny right now every single person konichiwa this is so menacing get then are you in school I would not go horrible sin right would make a very bad samurai yeah great people make that I feel horrible I feel. So bad I walked back into the samurai temple, and I was in my full samurai costume and, I’m sitting there, and there’s a little boy next to his mother, and this little boy takes one look at me, and starts bawling his eyes out crying gibbering you imagine you are a three-year-old Japanese boy if you go to a samurai temple the first thing you see is a six, and a half foot tall samurai in real life. So I go up to him when I take off the helmet, and I smile I go it’s okay it’s okay, I’m not a samurai, and then he saw, and it took him like a few moments to realize like okay, I’m not an actual samurai, and then he started smiling, and his mother says thank you I got some crushed ice he got though, and then we biked back to the train station we dropped off the bikes, and now we’re waiting for our car.

Because we’re going to a few more cool places today I don’t want to say we’re yet. But you didn’t get a lot no I smacked my head on the door ha ha always duck always be dunking I have back problems by the time I leave Japan oh this is where we’re having dinner look at this check this out a little dining room gee gee it’s a chi Chi Chi yes wow this is home for the next two nights this is a traditional Japanese Inn you know what I love about this it is just the bare essentials, and it’s so simple it’s funny. Because when I walked through the hotel the staff was all giggling. Because I almost smacked my head on one of the doors coming in look how low the doors are, and they’re all like this for the most part this is that this Japanese Inn has an open-air hot spring bath, and it’s open 24 hours a day. So, I’m going to go do that. So left over right always never right over left apparently it’s very offensive if you do that look at my outfit, I’m about to head to the hot springs now I’ve never swam in a hospital this is the point of no return it does not get much better than this one of the most invigorating experiences ever this is the outdoor spring right here, and it flows in right through there it doesn’t get much better than taking a nice hot bath outside naked in Japan, and that right there that is my first bathhouse experience it is now time for some Japanese bitter alright ready hey let’s see it wow this is ridiculous I’ve always wanted to do this welcome to my humble abode actually just kidding this is our dining room for the evening look how insane this dinner setup is it’s picture-perfect it honestly doesn’t look real Kampai. So that’s useful thank you for your welcome yeah thank you we just finished our dinner goichi.

So come on haha gonna do a post would help me everything yeah if it means that thank you for the food, and yes fucking thank you yes we get so much sake too much sake sake bomb home oh whoa oh whoa look at this I come back to the room, and I have a bed now I have two beds now Oh huh huh at dinner we were talking, and I realized that there isn’t a shower in this apartment, and that’s why there’s the bath house. So when you stay in the traditional Japanese Inn you have to go to the bath house if you want a shower which is uh it’s cool for the first time. But now, I’m thinking like I want to go shower if they walk all the way down there, and then shower with other people try, and take off my belt right now I put it on too tight do a shimmy shimmy all around just such a good trip. So far today with samurais bathhouse sake, and good conversation. So until tomorrow everyone remember to smile more were thus, and live your passion tomorrow is day number three in Japan, I’ll see you then.
