The Museum houses over 1.000 works of art in a variety of media. There are works from Russia, China, France, Holland, England, and South America. American art in the collection includes prints by Seward, Foltz, Capps. Benton, and Sandzen. Contemporary Kansas art is represented by works of Carver. Sanderson, James, Hamil, Rogers, and Fallier. Finally, there is a collection of Western art. including numerous bronzes by Remington, as well as by Hoffman and Russell.
