COASTAL CUPCAKES
129 Princess St. 910/251-8844, www.coastalcupcakes.com HOURS: Mon.-Sat. 11 A.M.-6 P.M.
There is no better place for a quick shot of sugar than Coastal Cupcakes, where all of the cupcakes ($2.25) are made fresh every morning. Cupcake bakers and business partners Meredith Sullivan and Kristen Beckmeyer opened the storefront to help patrons satisfy their craving for sweets. The menu has a combination of regular flavors like Casual Chocolate, Flip Flop Vanilla, Cabana Coconut, and
Key Lime Krazy as well as special flavors like Carrot Cake, Caramel Apple Crumb, and Peanut Butter Pirate that are only offered on certain days of the week. There is even a special section of the menu devoted to breakfast cupcakes, like blueberry cupcakes topped with maple cream cheese frosting for the morning munchies. The shop is small and unimpressive but the colorful cupcakes and vanilla scent make up for the decor.
History for Lagos Map Tourist Attractions
Just in front of you is Pilsey Island, which is Lagos Map Tourist Attractions well known, in common with the whole of Chichester Harbour, for its very considerable variety of Lagos Map Tourist Attractions bird life. Visitors of the feathered variety include oystercatchers, ringed plovers, dunlins, curlews, shelducks, sandwich terns, red-breasted mergansers, wild swans and brent geese. Meanwhile, there is a good variety of plants as well, which include sea lavender, glasswort, sea purslane, horned poppy and sea holly. One of the most rewarding sights, particularly on a wild winter’s day, is seeing a flock of wild geese as they congregate on one of the vast areas of flat fields close to the waterside, and then take off together in close formation. Somehow a grey leaden sky and a bitter wind add extra potency to the sight. Yet it is well documented that Pilsey Island has attracted fowlers who thought nothing of finishing off up to a hundred geese or more in a single bout of gunfire.
