Arriving at your beach home – one of 12 Flying Boat Cottages – you’re struck by the simple but super-luxe decor, complete with local artwork, drifwood details and traditional stone that bring the seaside inside. Spend your days sailing in the sparkling Gulf-stream-warmed sea, going out on romantic walks along the gorgeous coastline (keep your eyes out for pufns and seals) or cycling around the island.
If you’re looking for any more relaxation (clue: you won’t be) there’s also an onsite spa ofering a range of indulgent treatments. In the evening, dine on island-reared beef, fresh crabs and delicious lobsters at Te Ruin Beach Café, then relax in front of your very own log-burning fre. Bliss.
