Some of the Sunshine Coast’s greatest shops, bars, cafes and restaurants can be found on the esplanade with a view of the beach. But just around the corner is the spit, where this picturesque beach curves around to the mouth of the Mooloolah River.

Coolum, Noosa and beyond

The northern end of the Sunshine Coast is full of things to do and places to stay. Travellers can drive up as far as Tin Can Bay or Rainbow Beach, the gateway to Fraser Island for four-wheel-drivers, or settle for Noosa’s cosmopolitan lifestyle.

La Promenade, Bulcock Beach

Playing in the safety of Bulcock’s pools at low tide might be your toddler’s first experience in salt water. The beach and boardwalk is very popular with families and locals and the Sunday market is a great way to cap off a weekend.
